Meet Kat!
About Kat
Kat was not brought up in the consulting world. Before starting Clarity Forward Consulting and joining Castro Concepts, she was working full-time managing teams, resolving personnel issues, and leading strategic initiatives as a member of executive and management teams. She knows first-hand the challenge of facing very real, high-stakes questions every day about funding, people, and priorities.
To date, her efforts have helped organizations obtain and execute on more than $60 million in grants and contracts, and has led dozens of major change initiatives related to program delivery, strategic plan implementation, and core functions infrastructure like accounting, HR, and IT operations.
Kat is a practicing Agile professional and has been a Certified Scrum Product Owner by the Scrum Alliance since 2015. She serves on the board of Project Ropa and lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two dogs, one kitten, and way too many bookshelves.
Kat leads our Strategic Operations Services, which specializes in project management, operations, and organizational change for mission-driven organizations.
She delivers trainings, facilitates workshops, and supports the planning + implementation of product rollouts, scale initiatives, and other change projects for clients looking to optimize their impact.
From startups to midsized organizations, she supports our clients that are often preparing for their next big phase of growth, or in the midst of other significant internal change.
